Here at Willow St. the river returns to a semi-natural state going from enclosed in concrete to a dirt bottom. Tules, cattails and some willows have taken root and draw big numbers of birds all year long. Twice a year the river is used as a migration rest point for innumerable species passing through. Quite often yielding a look at some uncommon and doggone lost shorebirds and waterfowl.
